The Huffington Post writes: “. . . widow of billionaire Real Estate Mogul Melvin Simon, has put her grandiose Bellagio Road mansion on the market for the bank-breaking price tag of $50 mil. The 20,000-sq. foot estate boasts 8 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, and such creature comforts as a billiards room, movie theater, indoor pool with lounge area, and a sprawling 2,000 sq. foot master suite.”

GeoCities Co-Founder’s Mid-Century Gem for sale at $18.9M

Now here’s a mid-century modern home that does not disappoint. Thanks to Lauren Beale at the L.A. Times, we know that it belongs to David Bohnett, co-founder of GeoCities. GeoCities was reportedly acquired by Yahoo! back in 1999 for nearly $4 billion in stock. Bohnett is currently the CEO of OVGuide.com, an internet directory and search engine for online videos. Anway, he has placed this 4BR/5.5BA beauty up for sale at $18.9 million.

So what do you get for the money? You get an approximately 5,700 sq. ft. home designed by famed architect A. Quincy Jones for screen legend Gary Cooper in the mid-1950’s. It has features like terrazzo floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, a raised stone fireplace, a gym, and a pool (of course!).

Rapper Lil Wayne Lists Miami Beach Condo for $2.8M

Rapper Lil Wayne has listed his four bedroom Miami Beach for sale. According to South Beach Real Estate Blog, he’s asking $2.8 million.

The condo is located in the Murano Grande on South Beach:

Judging from the photos of the pool (top left photo) and lobby (below), we’d have to say it’s a nice little piece of property to own. We also understand that it’s a fair asking price.

Wayne, of course, won’t be needing this condo right now. He was due to be sentenced to a year in prison earlier this month on gun charges, but the judge gave him a one-month delay to get some dental work done.

Ashlee Simpson’s Beverly Hills Compound For Sale at $4M

Ashlee Simpson has listed her Mediterranean style home (above) in Beverly Hills for sale at $4 million. She bought it a couple of years ago for $4.5 million, before she married her rocker husband Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz. The home has 7,100 square feet, 5 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, a fitness room, a media room, a two-story guest house, and a pool. It’s located on a private street and has lovely canyon views.

Initially, we thought the same thing about the guest house below . . .

“Hangover” Star Bradley Cooper Buys Venice Loft

Bradley Cooper often plays the cool Kinda Cute But A Little Smarmy guy in a host of movies like “The Hangover,” “He’s Just Not That Into You,” and “Wedding Crashers.” For some strange reason, he gets cuter and cuter with each movie. And, apparently, he gets cooler and cooler too! Bradley recently bought a seriously cool loft at Dogtown Station, a live/work space in the heart of Venice, California. We hear he plans to use it as a work space for his production company.

Jon & Kate Minus One Starter Home

Zillow reports that Jon & Kate Gosselin have finally sold their Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania starter home for $258,000. Unfortunately, that was $22,000 less than what they paid for it in 2006. The home was the initial setting of their TLC reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8.

In related news, TLC released a statement that it has reached a deal in its litigation with Jon, who went through a messy divorce from Kate and was sued by TLC for breach of contract. Jon countersued TLC and . . . oh who cares?!!! It’s all over and Kate will be back on the air without Jon.

Beatles’ Abbey Road Studios For Sale

Just learned from Perez Hilton that music group EMI has put the Beatles’ legendary Abbey Road recording studios in London up for sale. Perez says experts are valuing it at $20 million (U.S.). EMI could sure use the money. According to Business Week, the company posted a $2.3 Billion loss last year.
